It is a webspace designed to promote the Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method of Grandmaster Hong Junsheng as it is passed down to westerners by his disciple and International Standard Bearer Chen Zhonghua. Chen studied from Hong from 1979 to 1985 and then through annual visits from 1991 to 1995. He is one of the youngest disciples of Hong. Chen received both Chinese and Canadian education with BA and MEd degrees. His international experience and education enable him to be a good conduit between students of Chen Style Taijiquan and the knowledge of past masters. In 2004, Chen Zhonghua was elected by disciples of Hong Junsheng as International Standard Bearer. This designation was confirmed both by the Hong Junsheng family (certificate signed by Hong Youren) and by Hong’s Standard Bearer Li Enjiu.
